The Vandermeulen brothers had an ambition to bring a bit of Manhattan and those typical New York burgers to Belgium. They wanted to create a genuine fast-casual dining spot where quality and speed were paramount.
The city that never sleeps offered a limitless source of design inspiration. It was more about making choices and prioritizing how Manhattn’s distinct and aspirational feel could have a place in the Belgian culinary landscape.
Manhattn's brings together influences of New York-born art deco, subway stations and industrial metal works into an intriguing environment to enjoy American-style burgers, such as the Gotham burger, Empire cheeseburger or Tribeca chicken burger.
The vibrant taxi-cab yellow, Marvel comics-style illustrations and solid New York-type treatments found their way into the visual packaging, menu and T-shirts as well, resulting in an ownable brand identity to match the interior.
